own.audio isn't available yet — it's in development. These terms cover only the pre-launch waitlist on this site. Once own.audio itself launches, we'll publish a full set of terms for the product, and these will be updated to reflect that.
What registering means
Submitting your name and email through the waitlist form adds you to a list we'll use to email you when own.audio becomes available. It doesn't create an account, a subscription, or a purchase of any kind, and it doesn't obligate you to anything.
The $5 launch credit
The first 100 people to register are marked as eligible for a $5 credit, intended to apply toward storage once own.audio launches. This credit has no cash value, can't be transferred, sold, or redeemed for cash, and is honored at own.audio's discretion once a storage/billing system exists. Because own.audio hasn't launched, we can't guarantee the exact mechanics or timing of how the credit will be applied — if our plans change materially before launch, we'll email registrants marked eligible rather than silently drop it.
Registration cap
Early registration is capped at 500 people. Once that's reached, the form closes to new registrations. We may adjust this cap at our discretion.
No guarantee
Registering doesn't guarantee that own.audio will launch, that it will launch by any particular date, or that it will include any specific feature. This site describes what we're building and intend to ship, not a binding commitment.

What we collect through the waitlist and how we use it is covered in the Privacy Policy, not here.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the waitlist or launch plans change. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do.
